It is my great honor to welcome you to the "Bangladesh Breast Cancer Conference 2025" at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Organized by the Bangladesh Society for Breast Cancer Study (BSBCS), this conference has been a pivotal platform since 2015 for updating surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialists on the latest advancements in breast cancer care. This year’s conference will take place on 28th February 2025, preceded by a series of workshops on 27th February 2025, including a live surgery workshop and sessions on various important topics such as advanced radiotherapy techniques, precision oncology, genomic profiling, and palliative care. These workshops are designed to provide hands-on learning and practical insights into the latest advancements in breast cancer management. Breast cancer remains the most common malignancy among women in Bangladesh and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality. Addressing this challenge requires a multidisciplinary approach encompassing surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care. This conference brings together experts in surgical oncology, Medical oncology, Radiation oncology, Pathology, genomics, immunotherapy, and medical physics to share groundbreaking research and innovations, including advancements in immunotherapy, molecular diagnostics, and personalized medicine. I am confident that this event, with its comprehensive workshops and expert-led sessions, will inspire meaningful discussions, foster collaboration, and empower participants with the knowledge and skills to advance breast cancer care in Bangladesh. Welcome, and I wish you a highly productive and insightful conference.
